CHALLENGE

While Vinda had established their in-house e-commerce team to manage their own webstore, and maintained a relatively strong online presence in popular marketplaces like Shopee and Lazada, the improvement needed in their data consolidation and management is evident in the half a million customers sitting in their database untouched and unengaged.

Our audit also shed light on huge gaps that required immediate addressing — lack of talents in the digital & data field, and an urgent need for data democratisation. Aspects of the business’ digital strategy that are detrimental to their online sales were also highlighted.

METHODOLOGY & SOLUTION

After a comprehensive and systematic independent assessment focused on several key factors, including an in-depth evaluation of the external environmental factors that affected their e-commerce performance, and a thorough study on internal environmental factors such as service operations, marketing systems, and past & present digital strategies, OpenMinds™ formulated an actionable and deployable plan towards the development of their e-business units.

In order to map their analytical initiatives to quantifiable business objectives, the framework for the consolidation and aggregation of data collected from all touchpoints is a key cog in the plan.
